Behold to BSOD

I just found a neat screensaver about Blue Screen of Death. So when you left your laptop/computer without any activities for quite some time naturally it will have this screensaver to save some energy. If your operating system is Microsoft Windows, this cool cutie is really smart. It will act as if your computer crashed, showing the dreadful BSOD and restarted while, of course, your computer is perfectly OK although some unfortunate souls might going wanky and click the ‘restart’ button. Did that before with Mrs. Hudson – and I shouldn’t do that again or she’ll let me starve for 2 days – and I want to test it to Lestrade :D

Watson’s comment when I told him about this screensaver: “Oh. You just knew it?”

Yeah, me myself a little bit against the title too. Not only that title could mislead some poor brains ('band' could be another thing that waaaay far from the real meaning in this case) but also Watson intended to act mysteriously. Hah. Like that will work.

So, I should say that in this case I found myself in quite amusing position where I met this lunatic doctor, a cheetah, a baboon, a snake, a doctor... Er. Wait.

Anyway, I'm glad that I didn't have to deal with the cheetah or the baboon -- hey, I'm a detective here. Not a zookeper. And yes, I'm glad that it was pitch dark -- um, not THAT pitch dark but at least I didn't have to look at the snake directly -- so all that I have to do was waving my stick to hit that slithering and hissing thing.

Yes I'm tweeting! :D Watson told me about this. So it was during our breakfast when he looked at me over the newspaper and asked, "do you know Twitter?"

I told him that I never heard any guy named 'Twitter' and how funny that would be and I would love to see that guy and laugh at him in front of his face for having such funny name.

Then he told me about Twitter, the microblogging site.

I was like, "OH THAT TWITTER!" then "what is Twitter?" LMAO.

So yeah, I have Twitter there :D You could see it at the sidebar. Dunno about you but I think it would be great if everybody got their Twitter account so it might be that some bad guys have Twitter also and saying out loud their thoughts of crime at Twitter (ha ha, you wish.)

Speaking of bad guy, any possibilities that Moriarty might have Twitter ID too? :P

And why on Earth I got a thought of 'A Study in Scarlet'?

Okay okay, pretty sorry about the lag. You guys won't believe me about cases that I got. Some of them are big (albeit useless) and some of them are small but then it ended fantastically.

One, for example, is The Case of Missing Teapot - Anyway, your good doctor refused to write this up because it got something to do with him. He told me a thing called "keeping the good image" :P - that eventually ended as The Case of Missing 1000-Poundsterling Cat and What The Heck A Teapot Is Doing Here?

So, this 'A Study in Scarlet' case - and don't ask me "why scarlet? Why not black? Why not blue?" Because I'm T3H DETECTIVE you n00b - actually a simple one. Or not, according to Lestrade and Gregson. Heh XD

Watson is working on it now. He told me that he gonna publish it. Go read it when it's available at your nearest bookstore :D

You wouldn't believe what I found at the tea-table this morning.

A list. By Watson. About ME. Yikes, I thought I am living with a good doctor, not a bloody damn stalker! Should I put revolver under my pillow or contact the Yard that I have bloody Mr. Hyde here?

So, well, I jolt it down for you all to read and I will give you my PERSONAL opinions (in italic) about this. HAH.

SHERLOCK HOLMES -- his limits.

Oh, I will tell you what my LIMITS are awrite.

Knowledge of Literature. -- Nil.
EXCUSE ME? I quoted Goethe for bloody sake!

Philosophy. -- Nil.
Hey hey hey, I could tell you a thing or two about this...

Astronomy. -- Nil.
Okay, that Solar thingamajik quite explained everything.

Politics. -- Feeble.
I'll let Mycroft do the job regarding politics.

Botany. -- Variable. Well up in belladonna, opium, and poisons generally. Knows nothing of practical gardening.
Because I haven't see any cases that connected to practical gardening, that's why.

Geology. -- Practical, but limited. Tells at a glance different soils from each other. After walks has shown me splashes upon his trousers, and told me by their colour and consistence in what part of London he had received them.
And don't tell me that you weren't amazed at that time.

Chemistry. -- Profound.
HAH!

Anatomy. -- Accurate, but unsystematic.
The reason why I beat those cadavers at dissecting-room was because I wanted to see how far bruises could be produced after death...

Sensational Literature. -- Immense. He appears to know every detail of every horror perpetrated in the century.
Hey, that's my expertise.

Plays the violin well.
I could play Tchaikovsky. Care to listen?

Is an expert singlestick player, boxer, and swordsman.
Which stated that don't mess with me you twit.

Has a good practical knowledge of British law.
Of course!

Apparently Watson pretty much shocked when I told him that I didn't care about the Solar System.

Aw, man, please, that kind of thing so Junior High! Wait. Nope. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

Yes yes, I remembered my Science teacher (that maniac killer perfectionist old hag) that practically told us everything about this whole universe and now, looking at my current job, did it do any good? Nil. Nada. Zip.

Unless you have job vacancy for me at Saturn, that would be going into my further consideration to at least memorize the Solar System.

Which one is worse; got a visit from Lestrade/Gregson or your computer crashed?

I corrected myself: Which one is worse; got a visit from Lestrade/Gregson (or BOTH. God forbids...) or your computer crashed AND YOU ARE ALL ALONE?

This morning I logged into the computer as usual after breakfast. Watson woke up not so long after I finished my breakfast and after that he went off to do some medical practices. He just started his practices after a long rest post-war situation. Bless him, that good guy.

So, anyway, I logged into the computer. Everything went all right when I tried to go into the Internet. THEN, all of sudden, the computer hung up! THEN IT CRASHED. I saw that blue screen of DEATH.

And worse, NO WATSON AROUND.

I should tell you this; I am green in this kind of thing. Watson is the man if we are talking about computer. Heck, even it was him who installed the OS here.

Mrs. Hudson came into the rescue. When the shenanigans happened, she was in the room - cleaning the dishes. She asked me what happened and after I explained everything to her, she took a book from the tea-table and gave it to me. The manual book.

Oookaaay, so I spend one hour to read the book and figured everything out.

I think I should ask Watson to write some instructions to me regarding this matter. Just in case if he's not around while the Hell happened here in 221B.

...

After several thoughts, I think the better condition would be when the computer crashed. At least it's a computer. Not Lestrade. Nor Gregson.

I'm so tired!

Mental note for myself, I should contact my brother earlier about my belongings so I could put some of my stuffs over his place. I keep asked myself, "where all these stuffs come from?" when I saw my bookstacks and piles of papers.

I've send a telegram to Yard, informed them that I moved my place so then they could visit me anytime whenever my service is needed.

... Although I hope that they will not send Lestrade or Gregson over.

221B! Finally!

Sometimes this technological issue could become a hassle for one's life.

After arranged everything with Dr. Watson, he and I started to move our belongings to our new lodging. I found the landlady, Mrs. Hudson, as a very nice lady. I hope that she wouldn't mind for some visits from my clients. When we arrived, she served us Earl Grey tea which I found as the nicest cup of tea. I should remind myself that my stock of tea nearly finished. Should go to the store to buy it then, hmmm...

Everything went well actually unless this connection which put me in dismay. I should contact the ISP several times before they could send somebody up here to install the connection. Talk about the 'great' customer service could be. Meh.

Dr. Watson installed IM software and I add my account into it. I add several people at Yard so then they could contact me whenever necessary.

Unless this Lestrade guy... I am going invisible in front of him :P

Off for now then. Should install several softwares and my books over there still need to be maintained.

Quick Update

I should inform you that currently I already got a gentleman to share my flat with. His name is Dr. John H. Watson (anybody know this guy?) Thank you for your kind responses, really appreciate it :)

Anyway, I would like to tell you about some fun things that happened when I met this Dr. Watson. Well, finally I solve the chemical problem (that hoemoglobin stuffs...) when Stamford and this Watson dude came into the laboratory.

Stamford introduced us both and I took a quick glance at Dr. Watson.

Well, I got this ability as 'quick conclusion' where I could tell people about their background and life. When I saw Dr. Watson entered the room, I already sensed some military air and I saw him heavily tanned. Well, for sure he has been in some tropical place. I also saw the way he gestured himself which, I could say, a little bit injured. Where on Earth you could find a military doctor that just got back from his tropical 'paradise' and got injured? Afghanistan.

Well, of course there are lots of tropical place around the world, but if I could say about one thing that becoming Greek Hell currently, Afghanistan it is.

I mentioned that he has been from Afghanistan and he has this aghast expression (pun intended.) Priceless :D

Uh, what should I write here?

Good day folks. As you can see, my name is Holmes. Sherlock Holmes. This is my first time using this quite complicated gadget called 'computer' and since my friend Stamford told me a thing about 'blogging', I got interested so then I decided to make my account here.

I'm quite a regular person. Not many interesting things about me. I should say that the interesting part of me is my job actually. I am, I believe, the very first consulting detective. People come to me when they have problem and I give them the solutions. As a matter of fact, sometimes the Yard came to me when they have small, unsolved cases and I'm really glad to help them. Well, actually I couldn't say my own profession as detective only per se, but currently I also working at St. Barts hospital in the chemical laboratory. Such an amusing objects, those chemical stuffs. Very impressive.

Currently I'm living alone by myself and actually I'm looking for somebody to become my companion in sharing a flat that I believe would be quite nice. The address is at Baker Street 221B. I hope that if you read this and you want to share some room (and fee) with me, please be so kind to contact me.

I should off for now. I'm using the hospital's connection and currently I'm working in my project of hoemoglobin. This project has been pretty much pre-occupied my head for some days, those little punks...
